About Us
Beginning at the young age of eight, Megan began showing at local shows winning championships in all divisions. Her success continued to the Northern California "A" circuit hunter, jumper, medal and equitation rings where the championships continued not only on her own horses but ones she would catch ride for others as well. With a passion for horses and helping people, Silverwood Equestrians was created.
In 2004, Megan attained her BA degree in Psychology and is able to use this as a tool with not only client relations, but with the horses behavior and wellbeing as well. Megan is fully licensed and a member of USEF, USHJA, NORCAL, PCHA, and SAHJA. Silverwood Equestrians has produced many champions in the hunter and jumper rings.
Silverwood Equestrians is a privately owned full service facility. Boarding, training, lessons and sales are available. We attend a variety of shows in Northern California for student's who are just starting their show career in the walk-trot ring to students in the hunter and jumper rings. We also have a basic lesson program for clients who want to be on a weekly lesson plan or for clients who are first time riders.
Haul-in clients are always welcome. We can provide you with a lesson horse or pony if you do not currently own your own. Our goal is to help you find a horse or pony that will be the perfect match for your riding level and goals.
