What Is My Responsibility For Horse Shows?

This is a list of things you must do to prepare for the show.

Day Before Show:

  •  Bath your horse/pony.  Do not put show sheen in saddle area or in mane.

  •  Have your boots polished and show cloths clean and pressed.

When You Arrive At The Show:

  •  Come dressed in show cloths with the exception of your hunt coat and helmet.  Wear a shirt and pair of pants to cover your show cloths so you stay clean while getting ready. We will do your hair right before you put your helmet on.

  •  Check in with Megan to get your class schedule. Your parents will go to the horse show office to get your number while we get your horse ready.

  •  If you are in a hunter or jumper class, you will walk your course before you get on.

  •  GET ON AND HAVE FUN!!!!

*Reminder* ~ Never enter the show ring unless Megan is at the back gate with you and sends you in.  There is no need to rush into the ring alone or unprepared.
