July 2010
We would like to welcome Madison and her parents Jennifer and Mike Mendes to the barn! She is already doing walk/trot on her own at 6 years old! Way to go Madison! Sarotti went to her second show and was Hunter Breeding Champion! Her stellar bloodlines are showing their true colors already. We have a busy month of shows coming up in August and we hope to see you all there.
June 2010
June has been a busy month! First was the Beach Party show at Brookside. Sarotti was in her first Yearling Hunter Breeding class and was a star. Kerri and Leit M' Roll were on fire once again being Reserve Champion in the $1,000 Classic, Champion in the Ch/AA Modified Jumpers, Champion in the AA Jumpers and placed 5th in another $1,000 classic! Kaitlin and Lucky Charm had a stellar show at Starr Vaughn on June 19th winning all three of their classes. Watch out for this pair this summer!
We would also like to welcome Madison Mendes to the barn. We are so excited to have you as part of our team and can't wait for you to show with us one day!

We would like to congratulate Suzanna Garcia on a great first show. Suzanna won all three of her flat classes and there was a big turn out for that show! Good luck with the rest of the show year.

We are off and showing for the 2010 season! We had a great start with Sophia Gemperle going to her first show and receiving a 3rd and 6th in her walk/trot classes and Kaitlin Paredes getting a 2nd in her Hunter Under Saddle class, 2nd in her 18 & Over Equitation class and 2nd in a Open Pleasure Championship class. Way to go girls!
We would also like to welcome Connie Courney to the barn.

New Arrival!! Silverwood Equestrians welcomes 2009 Premium Holsteiner filly Briseis SSH aka"Sarotti" to the family. She has phenomenal blood lines on both sides. Guaranteed to be a great hunter/jumper:
Concerto Grosso (Concerto II / Koenigspark) x Saage (Ariadus/ Locato).
She will be arriving to the barn mid February. Thank you to Lisa O'Brien of Seguin Sport Horses for this lovely filly. Look for her in the show ring!

This was a fun show and a great week filled with amazing Grand Prix rounds. Horses jumped great! One more show to go for the 2009 year.

Wine Country Classic
Leit m' Roll "Shady" and Kerri were Reserve Champion in the Ch/AA Modified Jumpers and placed well all week in the 1.00m jumpers!
Lucky Charm and Megan did well in the .75m jumpers
Lucky Charm and Josh Hefner won the lead line class(along with all the other brave lead line kids). This was Josh's first show!
Avery Bettencourt on Flopsy getting ready for leadline classes. Watch out she's not even 2 yet!

We had a great show at the Let's Show Beach Party June 4-7 at Leone Equestrians.
Tuscany "Cami" was Champion in the .75m Jumpers and placed well in all the Pre-Training Jumper classes. This was her first show!
Leit m' Roll "Shady" was Champion in the .85m Jumpers, .95m Jumpers and Reserve Champion in the .90m Jumpers. This was Kerri and Shady's first show together. Watch out for them in the jumper rings!
