January 2012
Looking back on 2011, it was a great year. Katie Willet purchased her first horse "Mr. Right" and had a great first few shows in the jumper ring winning several blues. At the end of 2011, we retired our fantastic jumper mare owned by Kerri Bettencourt "Leit ' M Roll" aka Shady. Shady and Kerri have been Champion or Reserve Champion at every show they went to in the AA Jumpers at rated and non-rated shows for the past three years. Shady was fast, clean and truly loved her job. She stepped into the ring at every show giving 100%. While we are sad to retire her to a paddock, we were able to enjoy her for several years and have a lifetime of memories to reflect on.

April 2011
We had a great time at Starr Vaughn. Epona (ridden by Megan Perry) was Reserve Champion in the .80meter jumpers (her first show here in the states). Leit M' Roll (ridden by Kerri Bettencourt) was Champion in the Training Jumpers, Champion in the Ch/AA Jumpers and 2nd in the $500 Ch/AA Jumper Special. Sarotti (shown by Megan Perry) was Champion in the Two Year Old Hunter Breeding and Best Young Horse.
February 2011
February has been the month of new arrivals here at Silverwood Equestrians. Baby "Bella" was born on February 21, 2011. Bella is by B'Czar, (owned by Reddoor Farms and currently on site for those interested in breeding) out of a lovely Oldenburg mare kindly leased to use by Jennifer Hartmann. She is a striking liver chestnut filly with a beautiful blaze and socks! She is a fantastic mover just like her mother and father. We are very excited to show her in the Hunter Breeding division in 2012.
We are very excited to announce the arrival of "Emmy". She's a 5 year old Dutch/Paint mare imported from Canada. She is going to be a fantastic Equitation or Jumper mount.
December 2010
It has been a great year and I want to take the opprotunity to thank all of my great customers for their continued support. I know we are all looking forward to the holiday season with our friends and family. The 2011 show season will be gearing up for us again in February. If you are interested in going for year end points, let Megan know so we can get membersips for horse and rider sent in. Below are a list of the final year end point standings.

We would like to welcome Madison and her parents Jennifer and Mike Mendes to the barn! She is already doing walk/trot on her own at 6 years old! Way to go Madison! Sarotti went to her second show and was Hunter Breeding Champion! Her stellar bloodlines are showing their true colors already. We have a busy month of shows coming up in August and we hope to see you all there.
June 2010
June has been a busy month! First was the Beach Party show at Brookside. Sarotti was in her first Yearling Hunter Breeding class and was a star. Kerri and Leit M' Roll were on fire once again being Reserve Champion in the $1,000 Classic, Champion in the Ch/AA Modified Jumpers, Champion in the AA Jumpers and placed 5th in another $1,000 classic! Kaitlin and Lucky Charm had a stellar show at Starr Vaughn on June 19th winning all three of their classes. Watch out for this pair this summer!
We would also like to welcome Madison Mendes to the barn. We are so excited to have you as part of our team and can't wait for you to show with us one day!

We would like to congratulate Suzanna Garcia on a great first show. Suzanna won all three of her flat classes and there was a big turn out for that show! Good luck with the rest of the show year.

April 2010We are off and showing for the 2010 season! We had a great start with Sophia Gemperle going to her first show and receiving a 3rd and 6th in her walk/trot classes and Kaitlin Paredes getting a 2nd in her Hunter Under Saddle class, 2nd in her 18 & Over Equitation class and 2nd in a Open Pleasure Championship class. Way to go girls!

New Arrival!! Silverwood Equestrians welcomes 2009 Premium Holsteiner filly Briseis SSH aka"Sarotti" to the family. She has phenomenal blood lines on both sides. Guaranteed to be a great hunter/jumper:
Concerto Grosso (Concerto II / Koenigspark) x Saage (Ariadus/ Locato).
She will be arriving to the barn mid February. Thank you to Lisa O'Brien of Seguin Sport Horses for this lovely filly. Look for her in the show ring!
